Flood Insurance
Property Insurance policies do not provide coverage in the event of a flood. An uncovered flood claim could be devastating.
To obtain this coverage you need to purchase a separate flood policy. Damages from floods are only covered under a flood insurance policy provided through the National Flood Insurance Program, a program established and administered by the federal government. We are licensed to sell the coverage to you. Travelers, as well as many other insurance companies, provides flood insurance through NFIP. We recommend that flood policies be purchased through Travelers. We encourage you to call us if you have any questions about flood insurance.
Remember, you may be at risk. If a flood occurs, without a flood policy, you will not be covered for damage or losses. Please think seriously about purchasing this important policy.
The National Flood Insurance Program requires a 30 day waiting period before a flood policy goes into effect. So if you wait until you hear flood warnings on the news, it'll be too late. Why not do something today?
